Dear Patricia and all at Kingston Grammar School
We have recently received your bank transfer and cheques totalling an incredible £27,575. This is an absolutely stunning amount of money to have raised and the most, certainly in my 4 years here, that a school has been able to raise, by far.
I’d like to express very sincere thanks not only on behalf of myself but on behalf of the
charity for all the efforts that have gone into raising this incredible sum. The Sherriff Club are an absolute credit to the School and it was a joy to be part of such a special event. I’d like to express particular thanks, on my part, to Roland Wales, Jennifer Garner, Geraint Lewis and Phil Simmons who all made my life, as a fundraiser, so easy.
The money the school has raised will make a real difference to the lives of those diagnosed with blood cancers as we are able to put the money towards driving better treatments and more accurate diagnoses. The money you have raised will ensure that the lives of those diagnosed with blood cancers in the future will be that bit easier.
Thanks once more to everyone and if I can be of any help at any time, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Kind regards
Ben Sykes (Regional Manager – London & the South East)”
